How much baggage am I allowed to take with me on my flight?
If you are an adult travelling on your own, you are allowed TWO bags (including sporting equipment) up to 20kg in total, as checked in baggage.
Your hand luggage may not exceed 7kg and should not be bigger than 36cm x 23cm x 56cm. You are allowed a slimline laptop bag in addition to your hand luggage.
When travelling with an infant, who travels free under the age of 2, your allowance remains unchanged for yourself AND your infant. If your infant is older than two, and paid for its seat, then the allowance applies to each traveller.
What is the best time to arrive at Skywise check-in counters?
Although you are able to check in up to 2 hours before your flight’s scheduled departure, it is recommended that you arrive AT LEAST 90 minutes before, as check-in closes 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure of the flight.
Does Skywise allow the carriage of firearms or animals/pets?
Skywise is not licensed to carry any arms or ammunition. Therefore prior arrangement needs to be made with a firearm courier service (private companies), to carry your firearms.
With regards pets/animals. Only registered service dogs may be taken on board with a passenger, and these are limited to 1 per flight. It is recommended that passengers with guide dogs, make prior arrangements with our call centre when booking a Skywise flight. Pets can be transported through our preferred cargo supplier, BidAir Cargo Services, which are located at all major airports in the country. They can be contacted on the following link: BIDAIR CARGO
